Atmosphere and mechanics are different evidence
Weather is part of the city’s presentation. A rainy screenshot establishes an appearance, not a catch-rate penalty or a customer-demand change. The January blog uses examples such as drought and fishing season to explain why checking the newspaper could inform purchases.
Record conditions with an observation
When testing a price or fishing result, attach the date, location, weather or event message and build. Compare repeated observations before claiming a cause. A single storm and a bad catch do not establish a universal rule.
- Record any visible newspaper or market event.
- Keep vendor, quantity and price in the same observation.
- Note whether a boat route is actually restricted.
- Check warnings
- Confirm route home
- Choose the activity
- Recheck conditions
Exact curfew hours, penalties and weather effects are not yet live verified.
Plan with flexibility
The May 2024 blog cautioned about going to sea in rainy conditions, but it did not provide a numerical risk model. Keep alternate city tasks available if conditions change. The daily planner lets you reorder a day without implying a weather forecast or fixed activity duration.
